A load that comes out slightly damp
Nothing is wrong. These machines dry by condensation against the stainless tub rather than with a heating element, so moisture left on plastics is the design working as intended.
The machine stopping with water in the base
A slow leak underneath has lifted the overflow float and the machine has shut itself down on purpose. Tracing that leak is the repair. Pressing the float back down simply moves the same stoppage to next week.
An ice maker barely producing
The inlet valve or the filter housing. A Bosch filter left past its interval restricts flow far more than most owners expect.

How much of the day does a Bosch repair take?

Where is the model number on a Bosch appliance?
It depends on the machine. Look inside the door frame, behind the lower kick plate, along the runner of a drawer, or on the rear panel. Plates go dull with age, so if yours is hard to read, take a photograph and send it when you book and we will work it out at this end.
