Schedule Service

Two minutes is all it takes

The form wants three answers: which appliance, whose badge is on it, and what happens when you switch it on. Pick the day and the two hour window that suit the household, and the shop confirms by telephone or text, usually well inside the hour.

How soon we can be there

A booking that reaches the shop before lunchtime is normally seen that afternoon; a later one takes the next open slot. Saturdays and Sundays are charged at the weekday rate, because appliances do not pick convenient days to stop working and we have never found a reason to price as though they did.

What to have ready

The model number if you can reach the plate, and a plain description of what the machine is doing. Those two things together decide which parts leave the shop on the van, and they are very often the difference between one visit and two. If the plate is worn, photograph it and send the picture when you book.

If it will not wait

The online form is the right route for almost everything. It is the wrong route for a refrigerator already above 40 degrees, for water running across a floor, or for a burning smell from a dryer, because those want a person on the telephone who can move the day around. Ring the shop and say what is happening.

Gas is different again. Leave the building, ring the gas utility, and call us once they have made the line safe.

Would you rather call?

The shop answers its own telephone from 8:00 AM on weekdays and from 9:00 AM at weekends. Tell us the make and what the appliance is doing and we will find you a slot while you are on the line.

What happens next

What happens after you book

01

Tell us what the appliance is doing

Call the shop or book online and describe the behavior: the make, the model number if the plate is reachable, and what happens when you run a cycle. The more of that we have in advance, the better the odds the right part is already on the van.

02

A technician tests it properly

The van arrives inside your two hour window. The technician reads whatever the appliance has stored about itself, meters the circuit that points at, and then explains in ordinary language what has actually happened.

03

You approve one price

One price for the finished job, parts and labor together, given before anything is taken apart. Most repairs are completed on that same visit, with thirty days on our labor written onto the invoice.

Worth having ready

Worth having ready

The model and serial plate

Usually inside the door frame, behind a drawer or along the lower edge of the cabinet. It tells us which platform the appliance is built on before the van is loaded.

What the appliance does

Not what you think has broken, but what actually happens: the noise, the error on the display, at which point in the cycle it stops.

When it started

Whether the change came on gradually over a season or arrived overnight tells the technician a great deal before the panel is even off.

Would you rather it was looked at today?

Telephone the shop before lunchtime and the appointment is usually that same afternoon. Evenings and weekends are charged at exactly the rate a Tuesday morning is.

Ready when you are

Call the shop and speak to somebody who can book you in, or choose your own slot online and we will confirm the arrival window.
